22nd Mar '05 - Easter Thunderball

Well its that time of year once again, only a few days left until the first major drag racing event of the year and our first real whiff of nitro of 2005.

"Easter Thunderball 2005

Drag Racing - Monster Trucks - Motocross - Jet Cars

Opening the new 2005 Drag Racing season with a whole host of exciting new attractions! The event as ever incorporates a round of the National Drag Racing Championships (for both cars and bikes) plus an invitational Pro-Fuel Shootout.

Alongside the racing, we have demonstration vehicles galore! Jet Cars, the Rocket Bike and a Jet Quad will burn up the quarter mile whilst Monster Trucks, Freestyle Motocross riders and other shows will be running off track with a fireworks show on Saturday night!

Santa Pod once again presents the most action-packed event this Easter!" (SantaPod.com)

Fansfueler will be attending the Thunderball at Santa Pod Raceway, over the easter weekend, once again promoting the project and meeting our current pledged members and hopefully some new members too. We shall be holding a raffle once again, the prize this time will be a huge bottle 5ltr of Brandy, kindly donated by our friends from Cyprus.

After it was such a huge sucess at the Xtreme Wheels show we will also have the Fansfueler Top Fuel Simulator with us and will open it to the public at selected times over the weekend. We may even once again have a few celebrity drivers racing the simulator over the weekend.

So if you are at Santa Pod over the Easter weekend, come and say hello. Once again, if any of our members wish to lend a hand over the weekend by offering their time to sell some raffle tickets, hand out pledge forms, or chat to potential members about fansfueler, then we would be eternally grateful.

22nd Mar '05 - Carter can do it.....
We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate arch rival Andy Carter on landing his two year sponsorship deal with B&Q. We know just how much work goes into finding and working with corporate partners to acheive a mutually beneficial strategy, so well done to Andy and the team and welcome to drag racing B&Q. Not only is this great news for Carter Motorsport, but for drag racing in general, bringing on-board a huge non-automotive brand such as B&Q can only serve to boost the profile of the sport as a whole.
