29th Sept 04 - The fansfueler team will be attending this weekends National Finals meeting at Santa Pod Raceway. Its another chance to come and meet Barry Sheavills and the team and make your pledge or even just come for a chat and see how we are doing and what progress we are making. The National Finals is also a chance to see some Top Fuel action as Dave Wilson will be licencing in one of Knut Soderquists dragsters, as well as all the great racing in the sportsman classes.

If you have already contacted us and made a pledge, we hope to be able to confirm receipt of all pledges to date very soon. We are currently inputting data into the fansfueler membership database and once we are up-to-date we shall confirm all pledges by email. Postal pledges will be confirmed in November.

We're really pleased to see that the pledges are still rolling in by post and email. Don't forget that you can download the pdf version of our pledge form if you would like to print it out and send your pledge by post or you can email your pledges to us.

16th Sept 04 - Seems we finally have time for a quick update! Sorry that its not been sooner, but the success we have had so far with the fansfueler project kept us all very busy over the European Finals weekend and since we arrived back here at the office.

The official public launch of our project has been a great success, with a lot of interest shown by the fans, other teams and drivers, the media and corporate organisations. Motorsport News ran an article (written by Tim Redmayne) on the fansfueler project yesterday and we are hoping for some further press coverage in the near future.

Of course we have a long way to go yet before we reach our target, so please keep your pledges coming by post and email. If you would like to send your pledge by post and need a pledge form you can download a pdf version which you may print and post to our PO box address. Of course you can still email us your pledges too. And don't forget to include your email address if you have one and what level of fansfueler club membership you would like.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Andy Carter and the Go Talk team on winning the 2004 FIA European Drag Racing Top Fuel Championship. Well done guys! We are already looking forward to some awesome battles with you in 2005.

We must also thank everyone who has pledged so far and all of the people who gave their time to help us at the European Finals.

8th Sept 04(late) - Barry and Chris both attended todays Press Day at Santa Pod, leaving poor Richard at home with other commitments. The fansfueler project caused quite a lot of interest today and we were very happy to meet a number of racers who said they would be supporting us and making a pledge. When we left the track, the fansfueler hospitallity unit was parked just opposite the pod shop, right next to "Boaters", which could be very handy for a quick toastie! As far as we are aware this is where we shall be based this weekend, so do pop over to the pits and see Barry and the team if you are at the event.

This will be our last update before the race weekend, so we'd just like to wish all the racers and officials good luck, and safe racing at the European Finals. And to all the racefans, we hope to see you there!

8th Sept 04 - The fansfueler team are now on our way to the pre-European Finals press day at Santa Pod. Hopefully we may return home with some news and pics. We shall do our best to try and post any news when we arrive home tonight. If we don't manage an update before setting off for the Finals weekend, we hope to see a lot of you at the fansfueler hospitality unit in the pits.

Last night was a rather frantic night in the fansfueler office, trying desperately to finish our radio advertisement before leaving for the Pod this morning (Wed), so that we could pass the recording over to the gentlemen at Nitro FM. Well I'm sure the neighbours were happy when we finally finished the mixdown at 1:00am! I quickly ran off an MP3 version too, so that I could give all our fans on the internet a sneaky peak…

3rd Sept 04 - Fansfueler rolls into pre-stage, the fuel goes onto the high-side and we are just about ready to roll those final few inches ready for our launch at the 2004 European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway on the weekend of the 9th-12th September.
