1st Nov 04 - Today see's the long awaited launch of the fansfueler Fans Forum. Although the forum is primarily aimed at those drag racing fans who have already signed up to join the fansfueler project, there are also public areas which are open to all. We hope this will further our aim of creating a greater sense of community amongst race fans.

To use the forums you will need to create a user account with a valid email address (please read our terms and conditions when you sign up). A password will then be sent to this address so that you can login to the forums. Once you are logged in you may change your password to something more memorable. Those of you who have already made a pledge to join the fansfueler club should request on the forums to have your membership upgraded so that you may enter the fansfueler club members only forums.

You can access the fansfueler Fans Forum here or by using the link in the navigation bar to the left.

We would also like to take this chance to congratulate Tog and Sharkman of Eurodragster.com on winning the Svensk Dragracing Eagle award for their outstanding contribution to the sport.

19th Oct 04 - We've just been down to WHSmiths to buy a copy of the November issue of Custom Car to find they've given the fansfueler project some column inches in their news and reviews section. So a big thanks to everyone at CC even if they can't spell fueler!

We are hoping that there will also be a piece about our project in the up-coming issue of Classic American so keep your eyes peeled for that one too.

15th Oct 04 - Its been a busy week for us here at the fansfueler office. We are negotiating with a number of corporate partners and are pleased to welcome Carlube Triple R, AEZ, NGK and Process Systems International who will be working with Barry Sheavills Motorsport and the fansfueler project.

We've added a gallery section to the site, which at the moment contains a few pictures of the fansfueler team meeting the fans at the European Finals. The progress page has also been updated to reflect our current position.

We are hoping to host our first fansfueler social event at the Flame and Thunder Show, Santa Pod Raceway, Nov 6th. So if you have made a pledge already, watch out for an email from us sometime very soon (for those without email, don't worry we'll contact you too!). Also at the Flame and Thunder Show, we are planning to raffle a set of wheels and tyres (value up to £1000) kindly donated to Barry Sheavills Motorsport and the fansfueler project by AEZ. Prospective fansfueler club members (those who we have already received pledges from) will get a special offer on the raffle tickets, so don't forget to let us know you are already signed up!

We would still like to hear from anyone who would like to come along and help the team promote the fansfueler project at the Flame and Thunder Show. So if you are planning to be at Santa Pod on the 6th of November, and don't mind lending a hand for a couple of hours, get in touch and I'm sure we can find you a job!

8th Oct 04 - First of all a big apology from us to anyone expecting to see Barry at the National Finals. Richard, Chris and Becky all made it down to Santa Pod, but unfortunately without Barry who was at home in bed with a nasty bout of flu.

The team will hopefully all be at the Flame and Thunder Show at Santa Pod on Saturday November 6th. We'd really like to hear from any fans who will be going to this event who would like to come and help us out, handing out pledge forms and spreading the word about our project.

You may also notice that we've now started archiving previous news items. We shall attempt to do this around once a month. You can find all our previous "Latest News" via the news archive link to the left.
