Santa Sheavills and the fansfueler elves would like to wish all our members, sponsors, friends and race fans everywhere
A Very Merry Christmas and a Quick and Safe 2005

If you would like to leave a Christmas or New Year message for the fansfueler team, our members and readers, we have started an Christmas Wishes thread in the public section of the fansfueler Fans Forum.

15th Dec 04 - Since our launch in September 2004 at the FIA European Finals at Santa Pod, the project has enjoyed considerable success. Pledges have continued to increase from dedicated fans both in the UK and beyond, but unfortunately, as yet, we haven’t reached our 2004 target.

This was however, a very optimistic target and as such and because of our level of success to date, we have taken the decision to continue to invite pledges up until the end of February 2005. This means that we will not be asking for pledges to be paid until February, giving our members time to recover from the festive season. This also allows more time for drag racing fans to take advantage of this unique opportunity, as well as being able to pledge in time for Christmas but without needing to pay until 2005. Remember, this is the Christmas present for any Top Fuel Drag racing fan.

Hopefully with coverage in publications such as Classic American this month and Custom Car in November, we will be contacted by others wishing to join the community. The project team will be continuing to promote Fansfueler at future events, such as Autosport International at the NEC, Birmingham on the 16th and 17th of January 2005, where they will be attending in association with Santa Pod Raceway. Barry Sheavills and the team will be on hand to talk to drag racing fans, existing and prospective members and look forward to seeing you there.

We are also in negotiation with a number of corporate partners, which we hope will not only help us get to that all important target, but also give you, our members, benefits from a wider range of sponsors.
