The Rules

All entries to the 2005 European Fantasy Drag Racing League should be made by replying to the thread "2005 Fantasy Drag Racing Entries" in the fansfueler Fans Forum or alternatively if you are a DragsterWorld member in the equivalent thread on the DWFF board. (For new users - Registering at the fansfueler forum is quick and simple and just requires a valid email address with which you can validate your registration.)

All entries should contain your full list of chosen drivers, the class in which each competes and their cost as shown in the Drivers and Riders listing, and each posting must remain unedited, an edited post will make the entry null and void.

Each fantasy team boss is given $60,000 in sponsorship to buy his team. With that virtual money you, the team boss, may buy any combination of drivers and riders from any of the professional classes at the values shown below. You may also choose any other rider or driver not listed at the class minimum value, but do be careful as not all riders/drivers may be competing in the whole series if at all in 2005. The costs shown are derived from each drivers previous placings in the championship in recent years and specifically their recent placings. You must chose a minimum of 2 drivers in total and a maximum of 2 riders/drivers can be chosen in any one class.

The total cost of your team should be no more than $60,000 and any money which you don't spend on drivers will be forfeited and will not be added to your total credit.

At the start of the season your account balance will be zero.

Each driver/rider on your fantasy team will earn winnings from the prize fund at each FIA/UEM event. Pro-Mod winnings will be based on the five rounds of the FIA championship which are already confirmed.

The prize fund for each class is different as are the running costs, so be aware that although a TF can make you lots of fantasy $'s it can cost you a lot too!

Each driver/rider will also cost you a given amount of fantasy $'s per run in each class. All winnings and costs will be credited/debited to/from your fantasy team account. For 2005 we have decided to simplify the rules slightly, by only debiting costs for runs in eliminations, and not qualifying. Instead each driver on your team will be charged an entry fee to each event which will also cover the costs of qualifying runs.

But do still be careful to chose wisely as a driver who DNQ's can only cost you $'s

Your account will be allowed to show a negative balance and as such you cannot be bankrupt at any stage.

We will endevour to update each fantasy team account within fourteen days after each event.

You may enter your team (only one entry per user please) at any time throughout the season but any entries received after midnight on the day before final qualifying of any event will not be entered for that event and as such will not earn any fantasy $'s from the prize fund or be deducted any running costs from that event or any previous events.
