The launch of the fansfueler project at the FIA European Finals was a resounding success. The team met a lot of fans over the finals weekend and took many pledges from prospective fansfueler club members. There were pledges at all levels from £50 Club membership up to £1000 Platinum and £2500 Corporate membership.

Since the launch we have also received pledges by post and email on a daily basis.

The National Finals at Santa Pod was somewhat a washout for everyone, with Barry ill in bed and the event being rained off. We did take a few pledges and made the best of the opportunity to keep a high profile.

We took more pledges from fans at the season closing Flame and Thunder Show and more pledges have arrived by post and email this week.

We also hope to have pledges from a number of our friends in the USA in the coming weeks.

As you can see on our dragstrip totaliser to the left, we are now heading steadily towards our target. We still need more pledges and more members if our plans are to come to fruition, but with the fans continued support we are positive that Barry Sheavills and the fansfueler top fuel dragster will be racing in 2005.

We are so close to reaching our target now and are itching to be able to make an official announcement on our plans for the 2005 season early in March.
